Description:
The Kent Archaeology Society, after sifting through thousands of records originally compiled 120 years ago and left to them in 1923, has now put the details of Chislehurst residents over the last 500 years on-line.
The records, kept at the society’s headquarters in Maidstone can now finally be viewed by everyone. The records give details of people buried in the Chislehurst area over the last 5 centuries but also give information regarding people who had previously lived in the parish but died and were buried overseas.
The records can be found at http://www.kentarchaeology.org.uk/.
