The Birmingham Stage Company are looking to off two local young actors a fantastic opportunity to appear on stage at the Churchill Theatre starring in Roald Dahl’s classic, George’s Marvellous Medicine.

On April 8^th the theatre company will be holding open auditions to play the part of George’s awful grandmother, after she has been shrunk by his medicine.  The part is open to girls between the ages of seven and 10 and all applicants must be less than 4ft 4ins tall.

‘George’s Marvellous Medicine’ tells the story of George, a little boy who’s left at home to look after his evil old grandmother.  He concocts a potion to try and cure her from her temper with quite unexpected results!  The production at the Churchill Theatre will be running from June 1^st to June 5^th.
