What’s on in and around Bromley this weekend?
As you now know, there’s always something going on in and around Bromley at the weekend, and it’s always varied. This week enjoy self expressionist art then perhaps chasing rabbits followed by your choice of a classical music or a quiz!
Friday 12th March
- Me Myself and I – Head over to the Bethlem Gallery to see art based on self expression. Artists are Dan Duggan, Jonathan Lill and Lisa Biles.
- Laughter in the Rain – ‘Oh Carol’, ‘Breaking up is Hard to Do’, ‘Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen’, ‘Solitaire’, ‘Calendar Girl’, ‘Amarillo’ and of course ‘Laughter in the Rain’. If you love these songs then you’re obviously a fan of Neil Sedaka! Laughter in the Rain at the Churchill Theatre tracks his career over six decades charting his rise, his fall and his rise again.
Saturday 13th March
- Furry Friends at Darrick Wood – Hunt out and learn about the little furry creatures that roam Bromley’s ample countryside.
- Biggin Hill Charity Quiz Night – Fancy pitting your wits against other quiz teams this weekend in the name of charity? Go along to St Theresa’s Church Hall in Biggin Hill for an event organised by Biggin Hill and Westerham Lions on behalf of Bromley Welcare.
- Orpington Symphony Orchestra Classical Music Concert – Taking place at Parish Church of All Saints in Orpington, the evening will include works by Beethoven, Wagner and Schumann. Tickets available on the door.
Sunday 7th March
- Meet the Orpington Field Club – Go along to BEECHE and find out about an organisation which promotes interest and knowledge of natural history in the Bromley and Orpington area.
