Houses in the London Borough of Bromley experienced a decline in price of 1.5 per cent in February, compared to January.  This is the first fall in price for eight months, the previous seven months all having seen rises.  This takes the price of an average Bromley house down from £330k to £325k, although the average price of a property still remains eight per cent above the lowest point of the trough in April 2009 where the average house price dropped to around £300k.

It has been suggested by some commentators that the recent poor weather and the expiry of the stamp duty holiday may have contributed to the recent fall and that this is a blip which will be recovered perhaps as soon as next month.
