Description:
As of March 2nd, Bromley South railway station has set up a scheme to encourage commuters and travellers to recycle at the station. The scheme has been launched by Southeastern trains and will provide separate bins for recycling paper, plastic bottles and metal cans. The scheme is being run in conjunction with Bromley Council who will be responsible for recycling the contents of the bins.
The scheme was revealed by James Cleverly, the Bexley and Bromley London Assembly member, who also happens to be the Chairman of the London Waste and Recycling Board.
As well as Southeastern and Bromley Council, other partners in the initiative include Metro Newspapers and Recycle Zone.
