Bromley business wins merchandise design competition for top UK band

Ian Caulkett from Bromley-based Tiptoe Collective has won a merchandise design competition for British alternative rock band The Charlatans.

Ian’s entry was short-listed by the band to make the final three, and uploaded to facebook where fans of the band got to vote by clicking 'Like'. Ian won the competition with 196 votes, 2nd place had 91, and 3rd place 50.

Ian's winning designs will now be printed up and sold as merchandise on The Charlatan's UK tour, and on the online store.

The winning designs are a series of three prints based on various Charlatans lyrics. As reward for his efforts, Ian, who is a member of the Bromley Creative Community, will receive copies of his prints signed by the band.

The Charlatans congratulated Ian on his win and said his poster designs were a big hit with both the band and the fans.
