The official figures released on Saturday show that Ilford is Britain's 'luckiest town' with more winners than any other British town, for the IG postcode.  Other 'lucky towns' include Newcastle upon Tyne in second spot, and Medway in third.  With Bromley entering the top ten, it now means that the North East and Kent are the two most fortunate areas when it comes to winning megabucks!

The total prize winnings for the luckiest top 10 postcodes since the launch of The National Lottery in 1994 is over £1.1 billion (£1,190,165,082).
