A number of exhibitions around Bromley continue into this weekend.  Bromley Museum houses the Invaders of Bromley exhibition, detailing all of the people who have tried to conquer Bromley over the years, from Romans to Nazis.

 

The Ripley Arts Centre has been showing off its August Summer Exhibition since Tuesday of this week.  Affiliated societies and artists display their work at the centre, the exhibition then culminates in a Garden Party tomorrow (28^th August).  Fingers crossed the weather is a bit brighter than it has been!

 

The Celebrate Bromley exhibition opened this week at Bromley Library and is on until 8^th September.  The ‘celebration’ is a collection of artwork from local people.

 

For those looking for something to do this Friday evening, Farnborough Jazz Club is on again at Farnborough Sports Club or you can enjoy the West End comedy classic ‘Bedroom Farce’ which is on at the Churchill Theatre until tomorrow night, starring Juliet Mills.

 

Saturdays evening activity promises to be a little bit quieter as you make your way to Kelsey Park in Beckenham for a guided Bat Walk.  Don’t forget your torch (and perhaps an umbrella!).

 

Spend Sunday outdoors too, drop into High Elms Country Park to Meet the Pond Animals.  See and learn about the animals that make ponds their home.

 

Stuck for something for the kids to do on Bank Holiday Monday?  There’s an unusual activity taking place in the afternoon at High Elms called Minibeast Mobiles!  Take your kids along where they will be taught how to make hanging mobiles of their favourite creepy crawlies!

 

Don’t forget the Old Dunstonians Rugby Football Clubs Family Fun Day on Monday too!  A sevens rugby tournament will be followed by fun and games for all the family, plus a BBQ is on hand when you get peckish!
