Unemployment in the London Borough of Bromley has fallen in the second quarter of 2010.  According to figures released by the Department for Work and Pensions the percentage of people out of work and claiming Job Seekers Allowance has fallen from 3.1 per cent to 2.8 per cent.  These figures are based on the number of people in the borough who are eligible to work.

In terms of the number of people out of work this translates as 5,104 people out of work in the period April to June as opposed to 5,714 people out of work between January and March.
