Description:
Chislehurst is a small town situated in Kent and is part of the London Borough of Bromley.
Chislehurst is a small sized town, but many of it's parts enjoy a village atmosphere. It is a popular commuter belt settlement and is of the wealthiest towns in the South East.
Although it boasts natural, undeveloped beauty in the area of the common, Chislehurst also has a busy town centre with a good variety of shops (clothing, furnishing, antiques), restaurants, cafes and bars mostly situated around the High Street and Royal Parade, which is mainly made up of upmarket boutiques.
Chislehurst also has a wide range of pubs and restaurant
There is a good range of quality property, from apartments and cottages to executive houses. Some of the more expensive housing is located in and around the Camden Road and Manor Park area which is next to the golf course and common.
Chislehurst offers excellent transport links by road or rail into the City of London and down to the South East whilst at the same time being surrounded by countryside. In fact Chislehurst is one of the starting points for the Green Chain Walk, linking to places such as Crystal Palace, Erith, the Thames barrier and Thamesmead.
A popular local attraction is Chislehurst Caves, 20 miles of caverns and passageways which have been man made over a period of 8,000 years.
