Description:
Keston Common takes up a large area in the village of Keston, 91 acres to be precise. It contains a wide variety of flora to excite the most experienced ramblers with wetlands including three ponds, heath and grass land as well as an assortment of woodlands. A rarity in the area is the valley bogs, of which there are very few in the London area; this one actually has a raised walkway through the middle. The area is locally known as Keston Ponds and is popular with fisherman as there is no charge to fish.
There are two car parks, the main one on Westerham Road and an alternative on Heathfield Road. There are also toilet facilities on Westerham Road.
