Description:
Hayes Common is a vast area of 195 acres of grassland, bogs, heathland, open green spaces and woodland. In the Keston area there are also ponds and large areas of wetlands. The Common is riddled with footpaths and bridleways and is a very popular attraction for families, dog walkers and people looking to get peace and quiet from the very nearby city. For serious ramblers the area is extremely important biodiversity-wise.
The area is easily accessible by car and car parks can be found at Baston Road, Commonside and Croydon Road.
