Description:
This is a fairly new open space and provides much needed greenery for the Bromley North area, surrounded by busy roads and clusters of houses. It has been purposely restored to give the feeling of a meadow and has a number of significant features, the main one of these being the fallen mulberry tree. The tree is of an unknown age, a survivor of old Bromley, and whilst it has fallen to a sideways angle it is very much alive and still bears fruit each year. In order to appreciate the age of the tree the flower bed at the base of the tree is adorned with flowers and herbs that would have been present in the 17th century. To round off the fallow feel of the area the flower meadow has been developed too.
