Goddington

Goddington is a small suburb of the larger town of Orpington.

It's most prominent feature is Goddington Park, which is nearly 160 acres of woodland and wildlife, as well as numerous sports pitches including football, rugby and cricket, when in season, as well as tennis courts. There are also facilities for young children to play.

 

Goddington Lane is home to one of the most prominent schools in the London Borough of Bromley, St Olave's, or to give it it's full name, St Olave's and St Saviour's School for Boys. It is a selective school which is famed for consistently appearing as one of the top achieving schools in the country for exam results. In 2008 the Sunday Times proclaimed it the ‘School of the Year'.
