Eden Park is a suburban area of Bromley. The closest towns in the borough are Elmers End and West Wickham and it also shares a border with Shirley in the London Borough of Croydon.There are a number of shops and takeaways around the railway station as well as pubs which include the ever popular Toby Carvery.
The station itself provides regular services to Waterloo East, Charing Cross, London Bridge and Cannon Street so the town is a popular location for commuters. The station opened in 1882 and still retains a lot of the original wooden building work.
The two Langley Park Schools for Boys and Girls are nearby as well as the shared sixth form facility.
A famous nearby landmark is the Bethlem Royal Hospital. The hospital was formerly known by other names such as Bethlehem and Bethlem Hospital as well as the more famous Bedlam, where the synonym for ‘uproar' originally came from. Despite its murky past the hospital is know a renowned authority on psychiatric care. There is a museum at Bethlem Royal which contains paintings and artwork from artist who have had psychiatric difficulties.
