Description:
Bromley's main theatre, The Churchill Theatre, opened its doors in July 1977 and was officially opened by HRH Prince of Wales. It is situated in the same complex as Bromley library and overlooks Church House Gardens.
The theatre is styled like a European Opera House and has a large stage; though deceptively small in appearance it actually seats 785 people. The auditorium is fully air-conditioned and facilities include bars and refreshment kiosks set in large pen foyers.
The Churchill Theatre is a ‘producing' theatre, creating its own production as well as staging amateur and major productions.
For all productions at the Churchill Theatre see the Guide2Bromley events section and type 'Churchill Theatre' into the search box.
