Biggin Hill Recreation Ground - Biggin Hill

Description:

This large site can be accessed from two ways off of Church Road in Biggin Hill.  The main entrance has a medium size car park and also has the Spitfire Centre, a teenage drop-in facility and hall for hire.  This entrance also has a separate children's play area with equipment.  The second entrance near to Main Road runs next to the site which will become Biggin Hill's long awaited swimming pool.  A road from this entrance leads directly to the pavilion in the middle of the recreation ground which can be used as a parking area when open.   The site can also be accessed on foot via a footpath originating from Jail Lane.

The recreation ground's facilities include football pitches, basketball posts and a skateboard area.  The pavilion is multifunctional and is used for amongst other things, changing facilities and a children's play group.  The site also has various man made conservation areas.
