In Capello we trust!

I suppose we should trust a man who's got us this far and in some style.  Forget the fact that they have played so badly in the two warm up games, next week is the big one and the boss has selected his final 23.  What does everyone reckon?

I suppose Theo Walcott was a shock but to be honest he is exactly the same player as Aaron Lennon, and Aaron Lennon has just had a more productive season despite his own injury problems.  I was surprised by the omission but if I had to choose between the two, I would have chosen Lennon.

Darren Bent and Tom Huddlestone weren't a surprise, I would never say they were international class.  Adam Johnson isn't ready, but may be one for the future.  Michael Dawson was a bit unlucky maybe as he won't be given another chance.  I would have expected Leighton Baines instead of Stephen Warnock but unless Ashley Cole gets injured, it really doesn't matter.  I'm most disappointed that Scott Parker didn't get a chance.  A great player, playing for a crap team with the unfortunate luck of playing in a position that England has pretty much had sewn up for a while.  Don't know why he wasn't even given a chance in the warm ups, great shame.
