Chislehurst Station
This is now beyond a joke surely. I'm not talking about the fact that the car park has raised its prices by almost 100% in 2 years causing everybody to abandon their cars outside the station, that's another story. I'm talking about the idiots who pick up people from the station in the evening!
Tell me, how bloody lazy are the people you're picking up? They've been sitting on their backsides for at least half an hour on a train from London; surely they could walk for 5 minutes at the other end? No? Obviously not from the desperation that goes on in the attempt to park as close as possible to the station entrance in order to save those precious few pennies of shoe leather!
The people parking on the station side are bad enough, sure this is where the narrow Station Road is at its widest but surely you understand you are now blocking in the poor sods who have come back from work only to find they can't move their car an inch because you're parked in front of it? No, it's the people who actually park up on the other side of the road, actually reducing the already thin road to just about one lane. April 8th 2010 at about 18:35, person in the little black Audi, you know who you were, look at the chaos around you, that was your fault, you are very stupid. Seriously, last night it was taking an average of half hour for cars to get out of the car park, mostly due to that little black Audi who stubbornly refused to move.
They even park here when there are blatantly real parking spaces to be had, but this may obviously make their precious’s have to walk for 30 seconds. There is an unmade road opposite with ample waiting area and there is also space on the hill to wait, why not do that? Idiots!
